The Fund also awarded scholarships to 14 individuals for training at the Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center, whose mission is to enable economically disadvantaged people of all backgrounds to become productive and fulfilled members of American society through education and job training programs.

FUNDRAISING EVENTS

Our first fundraising event was a charity garage sale in 1979. Since then, we've expanded our efforts to harvest hoedowns, casino nights, anniversary celebrations and our annual golf tournament.
